The Harrington Family Health Center is a community health center providing primary medical care, dental and mental health services to the residents of Washington County and eastern Hancock County, Maine. HFHC is a warm and relaxed patient-centered practice located in Harrington, Maine, a friendly rural down east community known for its blueberry barrens, lobster fishing and recreational opportunities. We provide about 20,000 encounters annually to a broad cross-section of the community, including low income patients, migrant farm workers, seasonal and year round residents. The Health Center also is an affiliate of Tufts University Medical School, serving as a teaching site for its medical students. The Health Center is located in Harrington on the “downeast” coast of Maine and has some of the most affordable oceanfront property in Maine and probably in the country. Certified Medical Assistant

Harrington Family Health Center is seeking a full time experienced, certified medical assistant for a busy Federally Qualified Health Center Primary Care, Dental, Mental Health integrated care practice. Qualified candidates must be proficient with electronic health records, and have strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills. Responsibilities include prepping charts, taking vital signs, drawing blood, processing lab specimens, assisting doctors with patients, and telephone work. Supervisory skills are a plus. The successful candidate will also be active with the quality assurance team collecting data ensuring a delivery of high quality of care.

Dental Assistant

Harrington Family Health Center is seeking a full time Dental assistant for a busy Federally Qualified Health Center Primary Care, Dental, Mental Health integrated care practice. Qualified candidates must be proficient with electronic health records, and have strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
